JJ Wilde Wins Rock Album JUNO

A huge congrats goes out to our very own JJ Wilde as tonight she took home the 2021 JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year for her 2020 album Ruthless. Nominated in a category alongside artists like Neil Young, Sam Roberts, Crown Lands and Silverstein, this is an incredible honour. JJ Wilde becomes the first woman to win the category since 1996 when Alanis Morissette took home the prize for her album Jagged Little Pill.

It is also Black Box’s third win in the category in the last 4 years, on the heels of The Glorious Sons’ wins in 2020 and 2018 respectively. For more information on the 2021 JUNO winners, click here.
